My guess is that many dogs are way smarter than they appear to be. The primary reason that Jana appears to be so smart is that she is challenged and given the opportunity to stretch her mental capacity by a human partner who appreciates dog intelligence and is creative in communicating.

I love the way you write. It is like hearing you talking. I buy Luka a popsicle in summer when the ice cream truck comes round. It doesn’t last long though!
